The Project

The Discipline of Biochemistry & Molecular Biology encourages all prospective Honours students to discuss possible research projects with all members of the academic staff who offer projects in 2005, before they make the important decision about a project.

The Supervisor

Should you and a potential supervisor decide and agree on a project, it is important that you name the supervisor below, and have them sign in acceptance.

In the event that you are undecided regarding your choice of supervisor or field of interest, you are requested to indicate this by ticking the boxes below.

Remember

Students with a 65% or above mark in any units which qualify towards a Biochemistry major, qualify for Honours. Students with a 75% or above mark in any units which qualify towards a Biochemistry major are assured of obtaining their first preference for a supervisor !

Points to Remember

  • If you have any concerns about gaining entry to the Honours course, you are strongly advised to enrol for both Honours AND Graduate Diploma courses.

  • The Grad Dip course has a quota : the closing date to enrol is earlier than mainstream deadline (page 4). At time of publishing, the date has not been confirmed, but as a guide, is usually late November. Pls check with Faculty (6488 3396) closer to the time.
